I've joined in the hopes of becoming a part of helpful community here on campus. I just started using Ubuntu Linux this year and I'm trying to learn all that I can. It hasn't been easy adjusting from Windows, but I'm learning and I'm willing to learn more. As far as getting new recruits goes, I could only help with my still slightly limited knowledge of the different web browsers and audio programs - my knowledge of the command-line is still pretty basic but I'm learning with the help of my small Linux guide and the ubuntuforums. I'm proud to have joined you guys.

I joined bullylug to learn more about linux and learn some cool programs to use with it.

So far I have saved myself a lot of time with people just "telling" me the information I want to know instead of just having to go out and google it myself.

At first I was interested in working on some programming projects with other people... sharing source code of things we have built on our own and such, but now that I think of it I am way too impatient to do that. It would still be cool to have the source to some programs though :D
